Log a proposal and the tenant's response

A proposal is the price you send the tenant for the work. Log each one you send, then update it when the tenant responds. Logging a proposal doesn’t send anything to the tenant.

Who can do this: Admin, Manager

  1. Open the project and select the Proposal tab.

  2. Select Log proposal.

  3. Check the Status. It starts on Sent, or choose Draft if it hasn’t gone out yet.

  4. Enter the Proposal amount, Date sent and how it went under Sent via.

  5. Under Sent to, pick a lease contact or choose Someone else.

  6. Under Proposal document & emails, select Add files to attach what you sent.

  7. Select Log proposal.

Each proposal gets the next version number. If the status implies a new project stage, the form offers Also move the project to that stage. See Change a project’s status.

  1. On the Proposal tab, use the pencil button on the proposal.

  2. Change the Status to Accepted, Revision Requested or Rejected. A Tenant response section appears.

  3. Enter the Response date and Responded by.

  4. Add the Requested changes or Response comments.

  5. Select Save changes.

The project manager is told about the response unless the facility has changed its settings. If the tenant wants changes, log the revised proposal as a new version.

The Overview tab always shows the latest proposal’s amount and status.

Use the trash button on the proposal. This deletes the proposal and its files. NTPs and correspondence linked to it stay, but they’re unlinked.
