Work order priorities
A work order’s priority shows how urgent the job is. There are four priorities: Low, Medium, High and Emergency.
Who can do this: Admin, Manager, Technician, Tenant
You choose the priority when you create a work order. It starts at Low, so change it if the job is more urgent. To change it later:
-
Open the work order and go to the Details tab.
-
Select a new Priority.
-
Select Update Work Order.
How priority shows up
Section titled “How priority shows up”- In the list: every work order shows its priority. Emergency rows have a red bar on the left edge, and High rows have an orange one.
- In filters and search: tick priorities in the Filters panel, or search for
priority:high, emergency. See View and find work orders. - In notifications: a facility can limit notifications to certain priorities. See Set up work order notifications for a facility.
Priority doesn’t set a due date or assign anyone. Those are separate steps.
Sorting by Priority goes in alphabetical order: Emergency, High, Low, Medium. To see only your most urgent work orders, filter by priority instead of sorting.
