Frequently asked questions

Settings doesn’t have a password field. Log out, then on the login page select Forgot password? and follow the reset steps.

Admins can also change their own password on the Users page. Select the menu on your row, then Edit. Fill in Password, Confirm Password and Current Password, then select Update User. On this form the password must be at least 8 characters and include a number.

Either way, the change logs you out everywhere, so you’ll log in again with the new password.

Ask your company’s Admin. They can change both on the Users page. You can’t change them from your own Profile page.

Admins can change their own the same way. Changing your own email also needs your Current Password.

Yes, if you have one. The login page accepts your email or your username. People who join through an invitation choose a username when they create their account. If you signed up on your own, you won’t have one unless an Admin adds it, so use your email.

It fills in your email or username the next time you open the login page in that browser. It doesn’t keep you logged in, and it doesn’t save your password.

You stay logged in on that browser for up to a year, unless you log out or your password changes.

You’re logged out if:

  • Your password changed. That logs you out on every device, whether you changed it or an Admin did.
  • Your account was disabled. See Account disabled.

Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Log out. It’s a good idea on a shared computer or tablet.

You can’t delete your own account. An Admin can disable it, which stops you from logging in.

Only your company’s Admin can change your role. See Roles and permissions.
